Professionalism Final Writing Portfolio
This artifact is my Final Writing Portfolio from PBHL-H245: Professionalism in the Healthcare Workplace. The purpose of this assignment was to develop and refine professional writing skills across multiple formats commonly used in healthcare and administrative settings. Throughout the semester, I practiced writing professional emails, business letters, memos, and thank you notes, while incorporating feedback to improve clarity, tone, and organization.
This portfolio showcases my ability to communicate effectively and professionally in different contexts, which is an essential skill in any healthcare career. Each document included reflects my growth in writing and my ability to tailor communication based on audience and purpose. These skills will be especially important as I continue into graduate school and future professional roles.

What I learned
I chose to include this assignment in my portfolio because it is one of the best representations of my growth in professional writing throughout the semester. This assignment required me to apply multiple writing formats, including emails, business letters, memos, and thank you notes, which challenged me to adjust my tone, structure, and communication style depending on the audience and purpose. I spent a significant amount of time refining each component and incorporating feedback to improve clarity, professionalism, and organization. I am especially proud of this work because it reflects not only my writing ability but also my attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. These skills are essential in healthcare settings, where clear and effective communication can directly impact patient care, teamwork, and organizational success.
