Final Strategic Plan Document
This artifact is my Final Strategic Plan from PBHL-H401 Strategic Planning in Health Organizations. This assignment brought together everything I learned throughout the course, including strategic analysis, organizational planning, and applying management frameworks within a healthcare context. It represents my ability to think critically about how healthcare organizations operate and how they can improve outcomes through intentional planning.
These same steps can be followed to embed other forms of media as well. If your artifact is a video or slide deck, upload it to ONEDRIVE or Google Drive and you can use the same steps. If you have another form, find a YouTube video or steps online on how best to add it. If all else fails, visit the ePortfolio Studio for technical help.
What I learned
I chose to include this assignment because it is one of the projects I am most proud of. It required a significant amount of time, effort, and collaboration, and challenged me to apply concepts in a real-world, practical way. This was one of the first times I fully developed a comprehensive strategic plan, which pushed me to strengthen both my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. I also had to consider multiple factors such as organizational goals, external environments, and long-term sustainability, which made this experience especially valuable.
This artifact showcases my growth in understanding how strategic planning directly impacts healthcare organizations and patient outcomes. It reflects my ability to connect theory to practice and demonstrates skills that will be essential in my future career in healthcare and occupational therapy. Overall, this project helped me build confidence in my ability to contribute to organizational decision-making and improve healthcare systems at a broader level.
